GGC coordinates move of three high schools over a single summer!

The Challenge

Envision Schools, a non-profit charter school funded by the Bill Gates Foundation, had three high schools to move over a single summer and only one facilities person to handle all the details.

The GGC presented an RFP to hire the movers and coordinate a logistical schedule to make sure everything happened exactly when it was scheduled to happen. We reviewed the labeling of furniture so that the movers could move quickly upon arrival and worked closely with the school’s personnel to ensure that teachers would get everything they needed at the new location.

The Results

Thanks to our execution, everything was ready for the return of the teachers at the end of summer. As Bob Fyles, Director of Facilities for Envision Schools, said: “GGC was sensitive to our needs and took the time to research our project requirements.
